Fun With Alice in Wonderland
June 3, 2015
Article's tools:

A musical version of Alice in Wonderland has opened at Warsaw’s Roma Music Theater, offering a lavish production with catchy tunes and colorful costumes.

Rather than a faithful stage adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic, the version at the Roma theater is a string of loosely connected and visually elaborate scenes acted out to swing-flavored songs penned by Tomasz Bajerski. Alice in Wonderland is directed by Cezary Domagała, who takes viewers on a voyage to a land of extraordinary creatures and events. Wonderland through the eyes of Alice will delight child and adult viewers alike. The musical’s fast-paced plot is packed with action and each scene contains a surprise.

Domagała says that the world invented by Carroll gives audiences a unique opportunity to visit a fantasy land, to explore their own imagination and that of the actors and other people who worked on the musical.
