Polish consumer sentiment rises in April

Polish current consumer sentiment improved across the board in April from levels seen in March, as major current and leading indicators increased, a monthly consumer sentiment survey by the Central Statistical Office (GUS) showed.
A synthetic measure of current confidence grew by 2.9 pts month on month to -18.1 pts in April, while the leading confidence indicator was down by 2.2 pts to -22.2 pts.
The job outlook indicator increased by a 2.9 pts to -29.5 pts, while the major purchases indicator rose by a strong 4.0 pts to -13.6 pts.
