Economy Ministry upgrades forecast for 2014 growth

Poland's economy is expected to expand by 3.3% in 2014, the Economy Ministry wrote in a monthly report, raising its previous forecast of 3.0%.

2014 investments growth is now expected at 4.1% vs. 3.0% earlier, according to the ministry analysts.

Q1 GDP growth is estimated at 3.1%, with total consumption rising by 2.2%, private consumption up 2.6% and investments up 3.9%, the ministry wrote.

CPI forecast was revised to 1.2% from 2.0% earlier.
