Poland will likely build its 2015 budget on the forecast of 2.1% average annual consumer inflation next year, Finance Ministry chief economist Ludwik Kotecki told reporters.

"Most probably the construction of the budget for 2015 will be based on an average annual inflation at the level of 2.1%," Kotecki said.

During last week's debate at PAP Polish news agency Finance Minister Mateusz Szczurek said that the 2015 budget will most likely be planned around a 3.8% GDP growth.

The Finance Ministry will present the initial forecast of basic macroeconomic forecasts for 2015 mid-May at the sitting of the tri-lateral committee which brings together representatives of the government, employers and trade unions.
