Fashion retailer LPP revised its development plans in Russia and Ukraine, cutting its 2014 chain development capex to PLN 390 million from PLN 450 million and the planned retail space growth to 25% from 28% previously, deputy CEO Dariusz Pachla told reporters on Friday.

At the same time, LPP does not give up on its development plans in Russia and Ukraine, the official said.

"We want to remain on these markets: they are important to us both in terms of growth pace, as well as brand recognition," Pachla said. "We expect that the current situation will allow us to negotiate better lease rates for our shops," he added.

The group plans to partially make up for slower growth plans in Russia and Ukraine with openings on other markets, the official also said.
