Fewer Polish firms have overdue wage payment

Polish companies have improved in terms of paying remunerations to their employees on time.
According to the Central Statistical Office (GUS), some 847 companies had overdue payments towards their employees at the end of 2013, down by 150 from 2012 and lower by 673 than ten years ago.
The decline of the number of companies with overdue wage payment is the effect of a change of thinking of Polish entrepreneurs, who pay greater attention to the problem, Polish labor inspection (PIP) representative Danuta Rutkowska said adding that also labor inspection brought effects.
