Dark Side of the Sun
Sunshine Man, the latest fragrance from Amouage, is an olfactory “picture” of the “darker, more mysterious elements of the sun,” according to Amouage’s artistic director Christopher Chong, who designed the perfume. Sunshine Man, Chong says, reflects the interplay of light, darkness, warmth and cold.

The aromatic heart note consists of sage and juniper berry accords. These intensive scents are softened by fresh lavender and invigorating bergamot, while the gracious base note of cedar wood, vanilla and tonka beans enriches the fragrance with a hint of sweetness and warmth.

Sunshine Man comes in a translucent flask with the Amouage logo on it surrounded by gold sunbeams. The flask’s white stopper is topped with an elegant, gold Swarovski crystal.

Music to Suit Your Mood
BeoSound Moment, the latest music player from Danish consumer electronics producer Bang & Olufsen, is a smart, intuitive device that integrates your music collection with online music services. BeoSound Moment can detect your musical tastes in order to select tracks for a personalized playlist. The two-sided device has an elegant aluminum interface on one side with a touch screen displaying a colorful, interactive “MoodWheel.” This clever little gimmick enables you to select music that best suits your current mood. On the other side, the player features the world’s first touch interface made of wood, with easy, one-click access.

Luxury for Your Hair
French fashion house Balmain, known as a trendsetter in both fashion and hairdressing, has unveiled a new line of exclusive hair care and styling products. Called Paris Hair Couture, the line was developed together with hair stylists who work behind the scenes at Balmain’s photo shoots and fashion shows. The Paris Hair Couture formula is based on silk proteins and argan oil that nourish the hair all day long. Balmain’s newest hair styling product, Silk Perfume, gives hair an amazingly light, fresh and shiny look in addition to a tempting scent.

Stylish Recycling
Polish company Nizio Interior, which specializes in innovative furniture and fittings, has rolled out a collection made of unusual materials. The collection includes the Satellite Image lamp made of a satellite TV dish, designed by the Balance studio, and the conical Sputnik stool designed by Michał Bogusz. The designer screwed three empty plastic bottles to the bottom of a disc. When inflated with a bicycle pump, the bottles turn into sturdy legs. Nizio Interior’s new collection also features reCLOCK, a set of five Art Deco-inspired clocks by designer Katarzyna Kędzior, who made them of ground-up plastic bottle caps and packaging.

Skin comfort

The line comprises a Rebalancing Cream, Rebalancing Make-Up, a Rigen regenerating mask and an innovative, personalized facial scrub system called Peel.
