The Villa Karisse art gallery in Izabelin, west of Warsaw, is opening a new exhibition Oct. 6 as part of its Thru Each Other’s Eyes series. The exhibition features work by two women artists from Warsaw, Ewa Dzianott and Iwona Rosochacka-Kenny.

Both artists chose painting as their preferred medium for the exhibition from a wide repertoire of techniques they have mastered. They both hail from the same alma mater, the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. The paintings in the exhibition reflect different moods and sources of inspiration. The gallery, which is located in the Kampinos National Park, will provide an intimate setting for their work.

The paintings will be up for sale during an elegant opening night featuring a performance of Baroque music by a violin duo. In keeping with the venue’s tradition of supporting cultural exchanges, the Irish ambassador to Poland, Gerard Keown, will open the exhibition as the guest of honor.

In parallel with the new exhibition, a selection of work by some of Poland’s finest sculptors will be shown in the Villa Karisse gardens.

The Villa Karisse art gallery is managed by the Polska Przyszło¶ć (Poland—the Future) Foundation.

When: Oct. 6, 7 p.m., Villa Karisse, 55 Sienkiewicza St., Izabelin.
