Ruling party PO loses ground in May poll

Poland's government party Civic Platform (PO) lost some ground to itschief rival, the conservative opposition party Law & Justice (PiS), as its support slid 4 pps to 25%, a survey by pollster TNS showed.
As support for opposition party PiS remained intact at 32%, the gap between the two parties increased to 7 pps.
The leftist opposition party Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) saw its support edge down 1 ppt to 9%, while its center-left rival Your Movement enjoyed a 3 pps gain and is now at the 5% threshold required for parliamentary representation.
The junior coalition partner Polish People’s Party (PSL) gained 1% to 6%.
