Financial support which the Polish troubled airlines PLL LOT received from the state was illegal and LOT should return the money, the CEO of Hungarian budget airline present in Poland Wizz Air Josef Varadi said.

Varadi adds that Wizz Air is ready to take over a part of LOT's passengers when the latter goes bankrupt.

After the bankruptcy of Hungarian Malev back in 2012, Wizz Air took over some 1.5 million passengers of the insolvent airline.
