Abris Capital Partners, the private equity shareholder of FM Bank PBP, is to file an official dispute notification with Poland as an effect of financial market KNF regulator's decision demanding the fund to sell its stake in the bank.

According to the investor, KNF's decision violates an agreement on mutual protection of investment between Poland and Luxemburg, where Abris is registered via Abris PL Holding.

The parties will have six months to reach an agreement. If they do not, the case will be sent to the arbitration court. Meanwhile, Abris filed an appeal against KNF's decision and simultaneously launched the sale process.
