Quality Compact
The Prestigio consumer electronics brand has rolled out a 7-inch tablet computer called the MultiPad Color 2 and boasting a fast, quad-core Intel Atom X3 processor, 3G connectivity with a transfer speed of up to 21 Mbps and the latest version of the Android 5.1 operating system. The device’s compact size is a major asset, but its 7-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1,280 by 800 pixels is large enough to deliver high video quality. The tablet is fitted with a 2-megapixel camera that, in addition to taking pictures, enables video chat using popular apps. A built-in GPS receiver allows users to operate satellite navigation apps. The device comes with wireless Bluetooth 4.0 technology and an FM radio.

Crisp Sound, Sound Design
The Ottava SC-C500, the newest brainchild of Japanese engineers working for the Technics brand, is a stereo system comprising a CD player, a SU-C501 amplifier and powerful Ottava speakers, all housed in a single casing. The system supports hi-definition sound and its compact design and crisp sound quality give a classy feel to every interior.

Half the Weight
The BackBeat Sense, a new wireless headphone set from Plantronics, weighs a mere 140 grams, which is about as much as a smartphone and only half the weight of most commercially available wireless headphones. Its unique, patented headband was specifically designed to comfortably fit 99 percent of users. The unit’s battery offers up to 18 hours of playback when fully charged and thanks to an intelligent pairing system, the headphones can connect to and switch between several devices. All buttons are placed on one ear cup for easier and more intuitive operation.

Mini Goes Big
When you think of the Mini, what likely springs to mind is a small, two-door car that is not exactly the first choice for families. But think again: the new Mini Countryman works fine as a family car. Classified as a small crossover, the Countryman is just over four meters in length, has a four-door body and can comfortably seat four adults. The back seat consists of two separate, adjustable seats with foldable backrests. The trunk has a capacity of 350 liters, with extra storage room underneath the floor. You can also fit larger items in the car—when the backrests in the rear are folded, the trunk offers a flat floor and 1,170 liters of cargo space.

The Mini Countryman is available as a two-wheel drive, or four-wheel drive in the All4 version. The car is fitted with a range of gasoline and diesel engines delivering from 90 hp to 128 hp in a version called John Cooper Works.
