Poland investigates new MEP over rape comments

Polish prosecutors launched an investigation to check whether comments made by Janusz Korwin-Mikke, a right-wing politician recently elected to the European Parliament, should be prosecuted for public incitement to commit a rape, a spokesman for the Warsaw prosecutor's office said on Wednesday.
During a televised discussion about what constitutes rape, Korwin-Mikke asked:"Raped, what does it mean raped?"
"Women are always pretending that they are showing some resistance and this is normal. One has to know when one can and when one can't," he said.
