Poland's main opposition, conservative Law and Justice (PiS) party will direct an electoral protest to Poland's supreme court wherein it will demand that the European Parliament elections be declared invalid, the head of PiS's team for election supervision Anna Sikora told reporters in Parliament on Monday.
PiS which lost the European elections by a narrow margin to the ruling party Civic Platform (PO), will seek another calculation of votes, Sikora said.
PiS MPs suspect that irregularities took place in a number of electoral committees.
PiS's controversial MP Antoni Macierewicz presented a film on Wednesday, which proves that members of an electoral committee left the committee building without publishing voting protocols, which makes a violation of election procedures.
