Poland’s local airports short of passengers

Polish local airports are suffering a lack of passengers only shortly after construction, the daily Gazeta Wyborcza reports.

The nation's newest airport in Radom, central Poland, still hasn't seen a departure and to date only 40 people have bought tickets for flights. 4You Airlines may yet start flights in the autumn.

The passenger count at the Lublin airport in eastern Poland is down 24% year on year to 13,500 in May.
