The recent appreciation of the Polish zloty is no reason for concern and the zloty foreign exchange rate falls in line with this year budget plan as well as the multi-year financial plan, Finance Minister Mateusz Szczurek told reporters on Thursday.

The Polish zloty has been in a declining trend since reaching a local peak of 4.21/euro in the third decade of April. Most recent appreciation, attributed to the European Central Bank's monetary easing, saw the zloty strengthen to the level below 4.10/euro.
