Arcona Property Fund, part of Arcona Capital, a real estate fund management company operating across northern and central Europe, is close to completing a transaction to buy a portfolio of 11 local convenience shopping centers in Poland from Norwegian developer Real Estate Central Europe (RECE) for EUR 25.9 million.

Arcona has already finalized the purchase of eight retail and service schemes and plans to take over the remaining three by the end of the first quarter of 2017.

After signing the deal the fund will have 25 assets worth EUR 83.7 million in total. The share of Polish real estate in Arcona’s portfolio will increase 34 percent.
