PKP railway operator eyes real estate projects

Poland's railway operator PKP seeks real estate investors for developing land plots close to railway stations in seven Polish cities by building 700 – 7,500 sqm commercial estates, the daily Rzeczpospolita wrote.
The cities considered for potential real estate projects are Warsaw, southern Katowice, southeastern Debica, central Konin, southern Oswiecim, northern Wloclawek and central Minsk Mazowiecki.
The projects could be worth several to over ten million euros, market experts said. It is a pilot project for PKP, which is analyzing further 130 locations for potential real estate projects, PKP real estate assets manager Jaroslaw Bator said.
