Stanisław Moniuszko is a great polish composer who arrived for the 55th time in Kudowa-Zdrój. During the festival, which is directed by Stanisław Rybarczyk, music lovers attended two incredible premiers.

First was a youth comedy score by Stanisław Moniuszko called „New Don Kichot – a hundred of lunacies” created by two musicologists from Wrocław: Andrzej Wolański and Grzegorz Wierzba. This festival production was directed by Robert Skolimowski and was created in collaboration with Music Institute in Wrocław. Second premiere were anthems of modern poetry in original or translated version. The art director was Emilian Madey, a pianist, conductor and a lecturer from Music Institute in Warszawa. „Halka” by Stanisław Moniuszko was presented by Opera Wrocławska and directed by Laco Adamik and conducted by Marcin Nałęcz-Niesiołowski. Some of the singers were Ewa Vesin, Zdzisław Madej and Radosław Żukowski. In an amazing cantata concert „Widma” sang i.a. Jaroslawa Breka and Aleksandre Kubas-Kruk and acted Mariusz Bonaszewski and Pawla Janysta. They were accompanied by Choir and Baroque Orchestra of National Forum of Music in Wrocław and conducted by Andrzej Kosendiak.
