Marek Belka
The president of National Bank of Poland (NBP) head Marek Belka was branded Europe's worst central bank governor by Bloomberg agency following the outbreak of the taped recordings scandal.

Belka should resign or else be dismissed by authorities, Bloomberg commentator Mark Gilbert writes.

The recordings undermine the independence of Belka's position and, further, speaking ill of cabinet members by central bank president is unacceptable, according to the agency.
