PGNiG launches new shale gas exploration well

Natural gas giant PGNiG launched another shale gas drilling 'Bedomin-1' located in the Pomorskie region in the Stara Kiszewa permit, nortern Poland, PGNiG said in a press statement.

Bedomin-1 is PGNiG's thirteenth shale gas drilling and the firm's last drilling to be conducted this year in the Pomorskie region, the statement reads. Horizontal drilling and fracking at Bedomin are planned for 2015.

PGNiG is currently conducting exploratory works at Milowo-1 well and has concluded drilling works at Tepcz-1, the firm also said.
