June 26, 2014
Natural gas company PGNiG plans at least PLN 300 million spending on shale gas exploration works in 2015, a similar level as in 2014, PGNiG vice president Zbigniew Skrzypkiewicz said at the European Financial Congress in the coastal city of Sopot.
"PGNiG plans investment outlays, E&E outlays for slightly more than PLN 300 million this year," Skrzypkiewicz said of shale gas exploration. "In 2015 I suppose the amount will not be lower."
PGNiG said in May it planned to spend PLN 300 million on shale gas exploration in 2014. Total exploration spending this year is planned at PLN 0.9 billion, the firm said back in February.
