Poland's power group PGE signed a ca. EUR 81 million net contract with French engineering group Alstom for providing and launching wind power turbines to the total capacity of 90 MW for PGE's wind farm in Kopaniewo, northern Poland, PGE and Alstom said in a joint press statement.

Alstom will provide thirty 3 MW turbines for the Kopaniewo plant, the statement reads.

The Lotnisko wind farm in Kopaniewo is the biggest renewable energy project realized within the frame of PGE's recently announced strategy, which assumes launching at least 234 MW of new wind power capacities by 2016, the firm said.
