Telco Orange Polska secured extension of reservation of two frequencies from the 900 MHz band for another 15 years for PLN 358.1 million, the operator said in a market filing.

Orange "is the first mobile operator which, according to the amended telecommunications law, had to pay for the reservation for a subsequent period," the filing reads. "The payment amount has been set at PLN 358.1 million and will be paid within 14 days."

Orange extended reservations of frequency ranges 908.1-914.9 MHz and 953.1-959.9 MHz until July 6, 2029, the filing read.

Orange Polska uses the 900 MHz band to provide 2G and 3G services.
