Polish exports seen rising 8.5pct y/y in May
July 3, 2014
Poland's EUR-denominated exports likely increased by 8.5% year on year to EUR 13.30 billion in May, on a monthly decline of 6.4%, export insurer KUKE said in a statement.
In zloty terms, exports likely amounted to PLN 55.57 billion in May, a 8.6% annual increase and a 6.5% monthly decrease, the report showed.
The May decrease in turnover in monthly terms mainly stems from seasonal factors as May results usually bring a correction after March and April results, KUKE said.
