Sygnity IT denies potential ties with rival Asseco
July 16, 2014
IT group Sygnity is not interested in any form of cooperation with rival Asseco, Sygnity CEO Janusz Guy said in a statement following reports that Asseco secured extension of regulatory consent to take over Sygnity.
"Sygnity has all the competence and resources to realize its development strategy on its own and the company is not interested in any kind of cooperation with its rival," Guy said, adding that Asseco "hasn't proved successful in consolidating its own group and integrating acquired businesses."
Asseco is not a "desirable" employer for Sygnity stuff, Guy also said.
Asseco CEO Adam Goral had said that Asseco asked for extension of the regulatory consent to take over Sygnity merely in order to keep the door open for expansion through acquisitions, also on the domestic market.
