Poland's budget deficit rises at end-June to 53.4pct of target

Poland’s government ran up a budget deficit of PLN 25.36 billion at the end of June or 53.4% of the PLN 47.51 billion deficit budgeted for FY 2014, the Finance Ministry said on Tuesday.
The deficit, which doesn't include local governments, stood at PLN 25.4 billion at end of June, up from PLN 22.47 billion a month earlier.
The budget gap for the full year is expected to be PLN 47.5 billion.
