Repair shops vanish on lower demand

The last three years saw disappearance of some 9,000 Polish firms repairing things like electronics, clothes, shoes or furniture. Many products have become so cheap that their repairing them is not worth it.
Consumers often take advantage of a problem with their equipment to buy a newer product with better parameters, home appliance maker lobby CECED Polska head Maciej Konecki said.
