PM Donald Tusk denied interest in the post of European Council President as Poland remains a priority, but admitted at the same time that "every scenario" should be at hand in negotiations over top EU positions.

“For me, the priority is Poland, but I will not reveal my negotiating position at this time,” Tusk told reporters in Brussels, Thursday, after the EU Summit.

Poland is hoping to instal its Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski as the head of EU diplomacy, and is also interested in European Parliament committees on energy, competition and internal market, Tusk said.
