Poland plans to launch electronic tax declaration system
July 28, 2014
Polish tax authorities want to introduce a new tax declaration system, in which every tax payer will have an account on an e-tax platform, with tax declaration filled in by tax administration.
Should a taxpayer have no objection to those calculations, he/she will be able to just approve it and get confirmation of filing the declaration.
In 2015, tax administration will prepare declarations for employees and persons hired on civil-law contracts. In 2016, such declarations should be also prepared for businesspeople, including self-employed, and for capital market investors.
To facilitate the automation process, tax administration will force most tax declarations by businesses to be sent in the electronic form.
