Poland’s foreign minister Radoslaw Sikorski said on Tuesday that the recent buildup of Russian troops on the border with Ukraine may signal that it is either pressure on Ukrainian forces into halting their advance or is poised to invade.

“Unfortunately, Russia has restored its combat capability along Ukraine's borders,” Sikorski told TVN24 broadcaster.

“There are several battalion groups there. There is a large concentration of military equipment there. These things are being done just to exert pressure. Or to enter,” he said.

We will find out very quickly what Russia's intentions are, Sikorski added.
