Poland’s top insurer PZU got a green light from anti-monopoly and consumer protection office UOKiK for the takeover of insurer Link4, UOKiK said in a statement.

Under a deal signed in April, PZU agreed to buy Lithuania-based Lietuvos Draudimas AB, Latvia-based AAS Balta and Estonia-based Codan Forsikring A/S as well as Polish direct insurer Link4 from British Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance plc for a total preliminary amount of around EUR 360 million.
