Civil law employment contracts under scrutiny
August 12, 2014
Polish enterprises saw social security board ZUS launch mass controls of civil law employment contracts and question such contracts, the daily Rzeczpospolita writes citing companies' representatives.
Despite the fact that regulations have not changed, ZUS demands the payment of social premiums backdated by up to five years with amounts claimed reaching up to tens of thousands zloty. ZUS says that the checks are a routine procedure.
So far, ZUS focuses the checks on market researcher firms.
