Poland’s job market seen recovering

The number of new firms registered in H1 dropped by 4.2% year on year to 181,600, which was the effect of better situation on the labor market.

Among those who lost their jobs during a slowly improving situation on the labor market, the number of those who notice a chance for employment increased, BGK economist Tomasz Kaczor said adding that the number of those who in self-employment saw chances for making a living dropped.

As an effect of improving labor market situation, a number of companies ceased encouraging their employees to register their own enterprise, Millennium economist Mateusz Sutowicz says.
