Poland's corporate wage rises by 3.5pct y/y in July

Poland's average corporate gross wage measured PLN 3,964.9 in July, an increase of 3.5% year on year or 0.6% from the prior month, the Central Statistics Office (GUS) said on Tuesday.
Wages counting out bonus payments from profit at PLN 3,960.1 were up by 3.5% year on year on a monthly growth of 0.5%.
Poland's corporate employment measured 5.531 million persons in July, up by 0.8% y/y and up by 0.1% m/m. Expectations were for employment to rise by 0.8% in annual terms and by 0.1% in monthly terms.
The tie up of jobs and wages pushed the nominal corporate wage bill up 4.3% year on year on a 0.7% monthly increase, calculations against the data showed.
