September 3, 2014
Hundreds of politicians, economists and businessmen from across Europe are taking part in the second day of the Economic Forum in the southern Polish resort of Krynica today, with the conflict in Ukraine a key topic of debate.
The annual forum is one of the most important economic events in Central and Eastern Europe. This year it is being held under the motto “The Post-Crisis World: Time for New Leaders.”
The three-day conference is taking place 25 years since the beginning of the transition from communism to a market economy in the region and 10 years after Poland joined the European Union.
