It turns out that in Warsaw, you can listen to a Chopin concert not only at the Philharmonic or £azienki Park. Every other Thursday, the departure hall at the Main Terminal of the Frédéric Chopin International Airport in Warsaw turns into a concert hall. A series of concerts named Jazz Thursdays at the Airport was inaugurated July 17. The audience could listen to jazz arrangements of Chopin's piano works, including Waltz in E Flat Major op. 18, Ballad in G Minor op. 23 no. 1, and Etude in F Minor op. 25 no.1.

The 20-minute concerts will take place every two weeks at 3 p.m. in the departure hall. The next jazz meetings-July 31, Aug. 14, Aug. 28, Sept. 11, Sept. 25, Oct. 9, Oct. 23, Nov. 6, Nov. 20, and Dec. 4. Admission is free. On Dec. 18, all people at the airport will have a chance to hear a special Christmas concert. The organizers hope these musical encounters will be liked by both travelers and Warsaw residents.
