Studio Theater will host the French performance Music for the Eye (Muzyka dla oka), a multimedia illustration of the work of John Cage, Eric Satie and Mauricio Kagel.

The creators of this presentation, Hervvé Tougeron and Catherine Verhelst, decided to “dress" the music in a surprisingly theatrical form by illustrating it with video images, movement and strange sounds: rustling, grinding and squeaking.

Three days later, the stage at Studio Theater will belong to Hindu artists. The Margi group will perform the katahali, a ritual of the Hindu Dance Theater, Nov. 25. The katahali has a sacred character and is based on Hindu epic poems. The artists (men also play the female roles) illustrate themes through expression, characterization, gestures, music and dance.

The Studio Theater is in the Palace of Culture; tickets are available from the theater's box office. The show begins at 7 p.m.
