Joseph Banowetz is one of the greatest contemporary pianists. He has performed on five continents with some of the largest orchestras worldwide, including the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the New Zealand Symphony and the Moscow Symphony Orchestra. The artist also records albums and is a professor at the University of North Texas in Denton and a prestigious juror at international piano concerts. His book The Pianist's Guide to Pedaling has been translated into four languages.

Banowetz will perform a solo concert at the I.J. Paderewski Museum in Royal Łazienki Park at 5 p.m., Nov. 17.
