Polish February retail sales rise by 7.3pct y/y

Poland's February retail sales rose by 7.3% against the prior year period, on 2.7% monthly decline, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said.
The analyst survey by PAP Polish news agency had shown consensus expectations for annual growth of 8.7% and a monthly decline of 1.4%.
In real terms, Polish retail sales were up by 5.2% year on year in February after 9.6% y/y growth in January, GUS also said.
