Main opposition party Civic Platform (PO) wants to take advantage of the momentum gained last week and is planning an offensive, including presentation of the state of public finance on Wednesday, a march of freedom on May 6 and a series of meetings in the regions. While PO’s motion for a vote of no-confidence against the government of PM Beata Szydlo failed on Friday, PO’s leader Grzegorz Schetyna’s speech in the lower house was well assessed within the party, party insiders told Rzeczpospolita daily.
