Tusk to be interrogated
April 20, 2017
Donald Tusk will be interrogated Wednesday in a case concerning cooperation agreements allegedly struck with Russian secret services during Tusk's term as PM. The opposition-minded daily Gazeta Wyborcza claims that the case fell apart some time ago when it turned out that proper approvals for the deal were signed, but that prosecutors will press the matter anyway as the governing party PiS hopes that the investigation will dirty Tusk's reputation. Both supporters and opponents of the ex-PM will await him at the railway station Wednesday and will follow him to the prosecution's office, Rzeczpospolita daily reports.
