Poland should soon complete talks with Denmark over the planned Baltic Pipe gas pipeline and hopes to launch the project by the end of 2022, the government's point person for strategic infrastructure Piotr Naimski told the public news station TVP Info.
"Talks with our Danish partners are in the last stage and we can expect that this plan [of connecting Poland to Norwegian gas deposits] will be completed with [the pipeline] launch by the end of 2022," Naimski said.
Baltic Pipe is a planned gas pipeline from Norway to Poland via Denmark.
Polish press has recently speculated that Poland suffered some delays in negotiations with Denmark.
