Poland and a group of allied EU countries will oppose the European Commission’s transport package draft to be discussed on Thursday, namely the planned regulations regarding the posting of transport workers, the daily Rzeczpospolita reports citing own findings.
Poland would be the hardest hit by restrictions in international transport planned by the EC on request of France and Germany.
The proposal, adopted by the EC despite opposition from several commissioners, stipulates that employees of transport companies should be treated as posted workers as soon as they spend three days a month in a single foreign country.
