US president Donald Trump's visit to Poland is considered a success by 52% of Poles surveyed by pollster IBRiS, with 41% thinking otherwise and 7% lacking an opinion on the issue, daily Rzeczpospolita writes.
88% of supporters of ruling party Law and Justice (PiS) see the visit as important and benefiting Poland in the future, while 61% of supporters of the largest opposition party Civic Platform (PO) are skeptical about the matter.
59% of Poles share the ideas presented by Trump in his speech in Warsaw (93% of PiS supporters), while 36% do not (53% of PO supporters).
One in two respondents in the IBRiS poll expects the US president's visit to boost Poland's standing on the EU arena, with one in four having the opposite opinion.
