The Polish government has launched yet another front in its conflict with the EU, the fourth major front, by ignoring the European Court of Justice's decision on the logging in the primeval Bialowieza Forest, an unprecedented move for a EU member-state, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily writes.
The Polish government displays ill will, and may lose at the ECJ over the Bialowieza logging should it doesn't provide hard evidence justifying its actions, former foreign affairs deputy minister Artur Nowak-Far told the daily.
In the future Polish authorities may face a situation in which a favorable ECJ ruling is not being respected by Poland's opponent in the court, he added.
The Bialowieza probe is Poland's third EU law infringement procedure launched by the European Commission.
