The Polish government has decided in favor of building a nuclear power plant and is mulling two potential locations, Zarnowiec and Choczewo, the daily Dziennik Gazeta Prawna writes citing its own findings.
The technology provider reportedly preferred by the Development Ministry is France, while the Energy Ministry is said to be considering China and South Korea.
Works on a new schedule and a recommended model of financing are drawing to an end, Mariusz Kozlowski of the Energy Ministry told the daily. The document should be approved by the cabinet until end-2017. The smallest reactor of 1000 MW costs around PLN 16 billion.
