Krzysztof Tchorzewski
Poland could afford building a nuclear power plant with cost estimated at PLN 23-25 billion for a single unit and PLN 75 billion for the whole plant, and a first block could be built within 10+ years from making a decision on the issue, Energy Minister Krzysztof Tchorzewski told PAP.
The country would need a 3-block nuclear power plant of ca. 4.500 MW to be able to comply with the requirement of the European Commission's prospective "winter package" of CO2 caps, Tchorzewski added.
