Ryanair intends to select a Polish airport as its Central European hub as the airline alters its business model to include regional hubs, the daily Rzeczpospolita writes, without citing sources.
Modlin is said to be in the lead for the spot, but Krakow and Wroclaw are still being considered.
Ryanair is somewhat of an unreliable partner with frequently changing business plans, potentially leaving a built-out airport hung out to dry, one local industry insider warned.
