Prices of finished goods in the manufacturing sector rose the most since April 2011 in September as industrial firms are approaching their production capacity limits, which is yet another sign of growing inflation pressure, newspapers Parkiet and Rzeczpospolita write of data published by IHS Markit.
Falling employment indicator and rising cost indicator suggest that salary pressure will increase, along with inflation pressure, PKO BP economists comment as quoted by Parkiet.
The rising tensions in the industrial sector will certainly be discussed at the two-day MPC sitting starting on Tuesday, according to the newspaper.
Rate setters may be forced to start a discussion on monetary policy tightening earlier than most of them assumed until recently, state bank BGK chief economist Tomasz Kaczor tells Rzeczpospolita.
